Nostalgia
During my time on write.as (when it just came out), I used to follow what others have been writing. I found quite a few good ones to be honest. There were nerds who kept sharing their new tech adventures while others were sharing their stories about their lives. It truly was a good time to be on the internet. I miss the old Twitter as well. The casual conversations with fellow strangers were a thing back then. I do not know where we citizens of the web dropped the ball. Too bad things will never be the same again.
